Professional
![]() | Marjorie Taylor has a B.Sc. (1979) and M.Sc.(1981) from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. She received her Ph.D. (1985) from Stanford University where she worked with Professor John Flavell. Currently, Taylor is Professor of Psychology at the University of Oregon. Her research interests include cognitive development, imagination and pretend play, children's theories of mind, imaginary companions, development of the fantasy-reality distinction, cross-cultural differences in fantasy behavior, consciousness, and creativity. |
